R&D Executive

Develop and launch of new products from concept through commercial production.
To define R&D strategies and organize project portfolio.
Manage R&D projects and perform post launch follow-up when required.
Continuous improvement of existing products’ performances.
Perform technical, scientific, regulatory and competition intelligence monitoring.
Support production in process implementation and work together for continuous and industrial scale up.
Plan and conduct the required physical and chemical tests and analyses for product development and improvement.
Identify, evaluate and source suitable raw materials from qualified suppliers.
Establish product specifications and production procedures, and prepare technical documents such as TDS and MSDS.
Oversee pilot runs and initial production batches to ensure products meet the required specifications.
Responsible for investigation when abnormal occur in process or product and provide technical advice and support in product / process improvement.
Support the Sales and Marketing teams with product samples and technical information.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Purchasing, Operations, Marketing and other relevant departments to support successful product development and commercialisation.

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a related discipline.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in research and development, product development or a similar function.
Hands-on, creative and practical approach to product development and problem-solving.
Able to read and interpret technical literature in English and Mandarin.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, scale-up and production procedures is an added advantage.
Strong analytical, innovation, problem-solving and organisational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
