REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess at least a SPM/”O” Level
• Valid Good Driving License (GDL) to drive any commercial registered vehicle
• Valid Forklift Driving License will be an advantage
• At least 3-5 years working experience in Warehousing, inventory, distribution/logistics operations
• Supervisor skill for managing subordinates
• Excellent time management skills and communication skills required
• Operationally oriented and comfortable working in a warehouse environment
• Committed, mature and able to work independently.
• Computer skills and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Experience in Warehouse Database Computer Programs and Warehouse procedures would be added advantage

OBJECTIVES

• To assist in receiving goods inwards, check and inspect goods received ensuring they are of accurate quantity, type and acceptable quality. To carry out regular stock takes and quality control.
• Responsible for the data entry and inventory of all stock. This involves processing receipts, taking records and documenting the details of all orders. They also organise staff inductions, manage occupational health and safety procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Loading , Unloading & Delivery
• Unloads goods from trucks by hand or with hand operated or motorized
equipment into the warehouse
• Dispenses items and posts amounts of items to inventory control cards
• Prepare the goods for loading by store for delivery
• Manage and ensure the proper loading of delivery
• Load the truck/van as per loading plan
• Maintain “ First in – First out “(FIFO) principle in delivery

• Operates hand equipment such as hand trucks to transport stock.
• May operate forklift, or other warehouse power tools/equipment to facilitate the
movement of goods.
• Clean the work station and keep the area clean at all time
• To participates in physical inventories by counting stock

2. Quality Assurance
• Assist to segregate the defect and quarantine products.
• Ensure quality checks are carried out for incoming and outgoing goods and report
identified faults.
• Ensure to report any quality issue to Warehouse Manager.
• Assisting HOD in managing policy and procedure for store department.
• Maintain 5S practice in providing a methodology for organizing, cleaning, developing, and sustaining a productive work environment.

3. Storage & Racking Management
• Ensure receipt items are properly marked and stored in the designated storage
Areas.
• To maintain proper storage system, layout in accordance to procedures and
Instruction.
• Store the incoming goods stocks according to a prescribed inventory system.
• Ensure efficiency of stock movement and inventory accuracy by FIFO system.
• To ensure that proper identification and segregation of goods.
• Ensure to practice FIFO labelled as required by FIFO system.
• Ensure any damaged racks reported for repair or to be replaced.
• Practice good housekeeping by ensuring all goods are stored appropriately.

4. Building And Equipment Maintenance
• Ensure to report any damages to the Warehouse Manager/Executive.
• Ensure warehouse equipment is checked prior to use and faults or damages are
reported to Warehouse Manager/Executive.
• Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene levels required within the warehouse and
surrounding areas.
• Ensure the security of the facility and report any incidences to Warehouse Manager/ Executive.
• Ensure maintenance and optimum use of machinery equipment to minimize
breakdowns.

5. Health, Safety And Waste Management
• Commit to provide safe and healthy working conditions in the workplace for the prevention of work-related injury and ill health.
• Daily operational and incident reporting if any to the Warehouse Manager/Executive.
• Report any vehicles that are deemed unsafe to be used.

• Ensure any workplace accidents are reported and corrective measures are
implemented.
• Dispose warehouse waste and business trash and recycling items, both inside and
around the outside of the building.

6. Project & Event
• Assist in the Canine Sports Club & MNAWF foundation activities including take part
in the promotional activities.
• Provide support at the event location such as booth set-up, dissemination of
information on MNAWF mission and activities.
