SENIOR – ENGINEERING
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Senior- Engineering to oversee our engineering operations and technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating engineering activities, ensuring all work meets customer requirements and company standards, and maintaining efficient operations. The role also involves monitoring work progress, resolving operational issues and ensuring the timely completion of engineering works.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Engineering Operations: Oversee daily engineering operations and ensure all activities are carried out smoothly and efficiently.
• Customer Requirements: Ensure engineering works meet customer requirements, specifications and agreed standards.
• Team Management: Lead, supervise and monitor the performance of the engineering and technical team to ensure work is completed effectively.
• Maintenance & Repairs: Oversee machinery maintenance, repairs, breakdowns and other technical issues to minimise operational disruptions.
• Engineering Works: Plan, coordinate and monitor engineering projects, fabrication, installation and other related works.
• Customer & Contractor Coordination: Liaise with customers, contractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure work requirements are clearly understood and completed accordingly.
• Work Progress: Monitor work schedules, progress and completion to ensure engineering works are delivered within the required timelines.
• Problem Solving: Identify engineering and operational issues and coordinate appropriate solutions to ensure smooth operations.
• Safety & Standards: Ensure engineering activities comply with company procedures, safety requirements and applicable standards.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates to Management on engineering progress, operational issues and work status.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes, work efficiency and overall operational performance.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in engineering, technical operations or operations management.
• Proven experience in managing and supervising an engineering or technical team.
• Good knowledge of machinery maintenance, repairs and engineering operations.
• Strong leadership, coordination, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Willing to travel to company sites and customer locations when required.
