R&D Engineer - Hardware Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities
• Perform product schematics and layout design
• Identify and select components for hardware design
• Create hardware design validation test plan
• Participate in design FMEA
• Support Design for Manufacturing
• Work with multifunctional team, suppliers, and customers
• Ensure hardware design meets product requirements
• Ensure intellectual properties are well respected in all time

Education:
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering) or equivalent.

Skills/Experience:
• Knowledge in PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Mentor Graphics Xpedition Designer, Autodesk, EAGLE PCB.
• Knowledge in communication protocol such as I2C, SPI, CAN
• Experience with power regulator design such as DC to DC converter
• Experience with microcontroller-based circuit design
• Experience using electronic instrumentation such as multimeters, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, power meter, network analyzer etc.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently
• Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management skills and commitment to meet deadlines
