Injection Moulding Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Perform equipment maintenance (EQM) on moulding tools, jigs, machines and
equipment.
• Arrange mould setup and support production activities to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain injection moulding machines and equipment to ensure optimal
performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair machine, mould and equipment problems.
• Coordinate with Production Supervisors on maintenance activities and equipment
downtime.
• Monitor and report equipment issues and spare parts requirements.
• Carry out machine adjustments and parameter settings to maintain product quality
and process stability.
• Perform mould installation, setup and modification when required.
• Identify and propose improvements to production tools, jigs and equipment.
• Assist other technicians and provide guidance to operators on machine operation and
safety.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements and safe working practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Head or superior.

Job Requirements
• Minimum 2 year of experience in injection moulding machine setup or mould
maintenance.
• Familiar with injection moulding processes, machine operation, parameter setting
and troubleshooting.
• Experience in plastic injection moulding or electronic manufacturing is an added
advantage.
• Responsible, safety-conscious and able to work independently.
• Willing to work shifts and overtime when required.
