Business Development Executive - Retail

Key responsibilities:
- Identify, research, and develop new business opportunities and potential clients within target markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and strategic partners.
- Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals and pitches to prospective clients.
- Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify emerging opportunities and market trends.
- Negotiate and close business deals to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful client onboarding and project delivery.
- Monitor and report on business development activities, pipeline progress, and sales metrics.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to generate leads and build professional networks.
- Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with company objectives.

Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in building material business development, sales, or a related field within the aforementioned services sector.
- Strong knowledge in building and construction material is required.
- Demonstrated and proven track record of successfully identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills with a results-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in market research and competitive analysis.
- Self-motivated and ambitious with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools
- Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, engineering, marketing or a related discipline.
- Willingness to travel within Malaysia as required.
- Preferred: Experience in the manufacturing and construction sector industry.
